2024 Cairns Ag Show

The following information relates to the Cairns Agricultural Conformation Dog Show, Friday, 19 July 2024.

TOP TIPS

  • This is a great day to showcase our wonderful purebred dogs.
  • Friday is people’s day and is very busy with over 20,000 people attending the show on the day.
  • People and kids will want to interact with your dog.
    • If you do not want people to interact with your dog, please cover your trolley/crate or place the trolley/crate away from walkways and out of reach.
    • If you do, have some baby wipes handy to clean sticky-fairy-floss covered hands and perhaps some treats.
    • If possible, have some printed information about the breed to hand out.
  • Always supervise your dog/s and do not leave personal possessions unattended. Be mindful that people may wander into your gazebo unannounced.
  • Keep walkways clear so the public have plenty of room to move.
  • The best place to toilet your exhibits will be in the car park area. Please ensure that you pick up after your dogs.

  • All dogs and exhibitors, including campers, are to enter the showgrounds via the Quigley Street entrance.

  • Exhibitors will be issued a ‘Pass Out’ stamp on entry so that they are free to come and go with their exhibits as required.
