COVID-19 Restrictions 8 August 2021

In line with the latest Queensland Government COVID-19 restrictions, and on the advice of Dogs Queensland, all activities at the Cairns City Kennel Club have been cancelled until 4 pm, Sunday, 22 August 2022. Activities include, but are not limited to, training, classes, meetings and the Scent Works Trial scheduled for this coming weekend. Dogs Queensland have advised members that they are not to travel from the Cairns Local Government Area (LGA) to any Dogs Queensland Event that is taking place during this 11 day period. This aligns with the Queensland Government advice regarding travel outside of the Cairns and Yarrabah LGAs. The Cairns City Kennel Club Inc is run by a team of dedicated volunteers all of whom share their personal expertise to ensure the effective leadership and management of the club. Election of all office bearers and committee members occurs at the Club’s Annual General Meeting held on the last Saturday of January each year.

Meetings

Ordinary General Meetings of the Cairns City Kennel Club are held on the second Monday of every second month at the clubhouse, 11 Quigley Street, Cairns from 7:00pm.
